Solar panels have their faults, like taking up space on the earth, and the toxicity of their production; however, they are still ahead of all other major energy sources. Fossil fuels cause more deaths; nuclear is close behind, but is not renewable; wind doesn't produce enough energy; to name a few. Solar panels just blows them all away, being off the grid, cheap, (with enough time), renewable, and mostly reliable.
